It’s been a busy month.

I know I’ve been quiet here and on the socials but that’s because issue 2 is in progress! I realized I was spending a lot of time sketching other content and filling my time with other drawings when I could be focusing on the task at hand so I kind of shut everything else out, developed a roll of film I was sitting on and then jumped back into the second part of my sci-fi superhero story.

This is my life now. I need to really focus on my pipeline and what else I have going on. Once issue 2 is complete I’ll start working on a horror short I’m submitting to a Chicago Horror Anthology set to release in the fall and then I’ll jump right into issue 3 which I’m super excited for. After that, I’d like to release a 3 part horror/holidays themed story for the later part of the year but that might be a dream—I really need to finish this first story for my sad super-dude Blue Jay.

Summer is great around here. I made some awesome connections at the Chicago Zine Fest earlier last month and this weekend is the ever important Chicago Alternative Comics Expo (CAKE) where I hope to slang more copies of issue one and more importantly, build community, which is my primary goal.

Stay tuned, as I’ll be scanning in the first few pages as a preview and I’ll try to drop more regular updates.

Also—now that I’m self-publishing I’ll be putting together some photo albums, though I have not yet decided how I want to share them…stand by.
